Day 1: You’ll arrive in Austin at 3 pm and check-in to your beautiful vacation home. After settling in and relaxing in pool admiring the stunning view of the downtown skyline, it’s time to head out for dinner. For your first night, we recommend walking down to our neighbor and legendary BBQ joint Terry Blacks. Order the moist brisket, a world renowned beef rib, and their delicious pork ribs. Enjoy this incredible meat experience in your private outdoor dining area poolside. If feeling adventurous head to Continental Club or C-Boys Heat & Soul after for some great local live music.
Day 2: Today, you’ll get started with breakfast tacos and coffee at Radio Coffee & Beer. Try their amazing coffees and Veracruz Tacos dripping with with those cool Austin vibes. From there call an Uber or Fetti to meet up with your boat captain waiting just a couple miles away in Lake Austin. After getting a little wild in party cove and surf session enjoy lunch lakeside at Ski Shores or Hula Hut. These popular waterfront restaurants are the perfect spots to grab a bite, a drink, and lake vibes.
Afterward, head back to your Austin homebase to relax and recharge before heading out to shop in local boutiques and iconic photo opportunities on South Congress to tag SPRKhost on Instagram for big discounts on future stays! For dinner, make your way to Neighborhood Sushi, one of Austin’s most popular sushi restaurants. This contemporary Japanese restaurant offers a wide variety of sushi and sashimi, along with creative cocktails and an extensive sake selection.
Day 3: On your third day, you’ll be taking a private Fredericksburg wine tour of some of Austin’s best wineries. Bell Springs Winery, Fall Creek Winery, and Duchman Family Winery are all located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and offer some of the best wines and venues in the state. Your private tour will include transportation, tastings at each winery, and a beautiful picnic lunch to enjoy with wine and hill country views.
Day 4: Get ready for a day of adventure as you head out for horseback riding at a nearby Texas ranch. The Hill Country is known for its beautiful scenery, and there’s no better way to experience it than on horseback. After your ride, head to The Salt Lick BBQ, one of Austin’s most iconic restaurants. This family-owned restaurant has been serving up some of the best barbecue in Texas for over 50 years. Be sure to try their famous brisket and don’t forget the sides!
Day 5: On your final day in Austin, take some time to explore the city’s iconic sites and downtown activities. Start with a visit to the Texas State Capitol which is taller than the Capital building in Washington DC. From there stroll down congress and stop at the legendary The Driskill Hotel and have a cocktail where Lyndon Johnson did on his presidential election night. From there, head to the warehouse district for shopping and lunch. If you are feeling really adventures check out the Blanton Museum and walk University of Texas’ Campus.
